Well done, thank you for the great post. I did the trip myself and how you describe it matches just perfectly. Dusty roads, beautiful scenery, delicious coffee and much more.
Love your photography, amazing! I am gonna read part 2 just right now

The best way is to ask at hotels for Monasteries. We have been to a Monastery near Kalaw, we got that with Golden Lilly inn Guest house. You have to ask around as it is not really legal there to sleep in private houses.
Hope you have a good journey...

Hello , we tried to reach you via email, but i am not sure if it went through. My girlfriend and i are staying in buon ma thuot and want to go to lak lake, see coffee plantations on the way, try weasle coffee and maybe buy some coffee, do elephantriding and stay one night at the lake either homestay or long house. We would love a tour by motorbike of course and including all the food/meals (B,L,D). Could you also help us with the transfer from lak lake to da lat and further to mui ne . We have 2 big backpacks, 2 small ones and 1 bag. Is it possible with motorbike then? And what would be the costs? Departure would be the 24.11. If its possible. We look forward to your reply. You can even call us at coffee tour resort bmt room 101 or on mobile 000 is an australian no. Greetings daniel and angelika
